Dersin Amacı

This course aims to enhance students’ appreciation of short fiction as a literary form; to enable students to prepare course materials which utilize short stories in teaching English as a foreign language; to enable the students to develop lesson plans in which they would use short fiction as course material, and to present their course materials through practical applications.

Dersin İçeriği

This course analyzes the short story as a literary genre (with examples mainly from English and American literature) and deals with the techniques of using short fiction in teaching English as a foreign language.
