Dersin İçeriği | This course presents a comprehensive overview of the field of second and foreign language teaching with a particular focus on issues related to the teaching of English. It is also designed to provide a detailed insight into current language teaching pedagogies which teacher candidates can refer to in their teaching practices. The topics included in this course centre around models, elements and stages of planning a lesson, classroom management, techniques and principles of dynamic classroom interaction, characteristics of mixed-ability classrooms, related teaching strategies, designing multilevel tasks, syllabus design and curriculum development, the types, roles, advantages and potential drawbacks of various instructional materials, individual differences and the use of technological aids in the classroom. |
