Dersin Amacı

	

The ELT 107 Writing Skills course basically aims to make teacher candidates think about academic writing processes, to understand the relationship between reading and writing, to develop different types and process based writing skills, and to learn the academic discourse supported by reading. To advance the flexibility of expressing an idea with various vocabulary and sentence structures, to list the ideas developed by them employing proper sentence structures and vocabulary, to write in a connected, meaningful and well organized manner in the frame of academic writing etiquette, and developing cooperative writing skills constitute the main purposes the course.
