Course Objective | To teach the basic features of basic learning-teaching strategies, methods and techniques related to science. |
Course Content | The aims of science teaching, science literacy; teaching strategies, methods, techniques, materials and applications (instructional strategy through presentation, strategy of learning through invention, cooperative learning, demonstration); learning theories commonly used in science teaching; common misconceptions in science; laboratory techniques, laboratory safety, use of simple materials in science teaching, concept teaching and the use of graphical tools (concept map, v-diagram, informatics-curiosity-charts I have learned), teaching techniques with analogies, the use of scientific models in science teaching; preparation and ipractice of lesson plans based on the use of teaching methods and techniques. |
