Course Objective

The main object of the course is to provide a basic understanding of thermodynamics, optics and waves, nuclear physics and to acquaint students with facts interested in Modern Physics. 

Course Content

Heat and temperature, thermodynamics and laws, expansion: in solid, liquid and gases, Source of heat and transmission, geometric optics and waves dalgalar and Sound waves Theories of light, the light particle and the wave model, the photoelectric and Compton effect. Photons, Solar energy, solar spectrum, the use of solar energy. Lasers and their applications, and applications of X-rays. Superconductivity
