Dersin Amacı

Health communication occurs in a variety of contexts (for example, school, home, and work); through a variety of channels (for example, interpersonal, small group, organizational, community, and mass media) with a variety of messages and for a variety of reasons. This course allows students to examine and research the need for more effective communication in the delivery of health care.

Dersin İçeriği

This course is designed to provide an overview of and introduction to the nature and processes of communication in health services. Emphasis will be placed on examination of organizational communication at the theoretical level, but the course will also look at the application of these theoretical approaches to better understand important organizational processes and to facilitate ones success in organizational life.
