Dersin Amacı

Language learning experiences of learners aged 5-11 vary significantly from adults in physical, psychological, emotional and cognitive contexts. This is why this course aims to help students adapt their method, technique and expertise to early language learners. The aim of this course is to provide the students with the knowledge of the basic terms, as well as the infrastructure of the children's foreign language learning processes, taking into account teaching methods and classroom practices.

Dersin İçeriği

In this course, students gain insights into how children think and learn, develop an understanding of children’s first and second language development, review current approaches to teaching English to young learners and relate theories of children’s teaching and learning to classroom practices.
