Week Course Topics Preliminary Preparation
1 General information about Karakhanid period. The works written in Karakhanid Turkish and researches on those works.
2 Reading, transcription, translation, phonological and morphological investigations on the original texts of Kutadgu Bilig and Atabetü´l-Hakayık.
3 The major grammatical structures of Karakhanid Turkish.
4 General information about the period. The works written in Khwarazm-Kipchak Turkish and researches on those works.
5 Reading, transcription, translation, phonological and morphological investigations on the original texts of Nehcü´l-Feradis and Kısasü´l-Enbiya.
6 The major grammatical structures of Khwarazm-Kipchak Turkish.
7 Formation and development of Old Anatolian Turkish and its place among other historical Turkic dialectes.
