Dersin Amacı | This course aims to familiarize students with the modern Iranian politics and foreign policy and to comprehend socio-political dynamics in Iran. Major socio-political dynamics, regional and systemic factors that affect Iranian politics and the critical turning points in Iranian political history will be reviewed throughout the course. Thereby this course has aimed to increase awareness of students on interplay of various structural and conjectural dynamics that shaped modern Iranian politics. Students will be encouraged to analyze Iranian politics by the course requirements. |
Dersin İçeriği | This course will review majör turning points in the political history on with special emphasis to the affect of socio-economic, polictical, regional, and systemic factors. Each student is expected to read weekly readings and to contribute to discussions in the class.
