Dersin Amacı This course aims to introduce the students with media studies approach in order to rethink the effects of the ways in which mass media affect how audiences think and behave about the events in the Middle East.
Dersin İçeriği This course studies the role played by the print and visual media in effacing and engendering public opinion and foreign policy decision making in the Middle East. It surveys the dynamics and mechanisms of pressure on states and peoples with the help of theoretical and conceptual prisms of media studies.
