Course Objective | Aim of this course is to focus on region´s conflict history in modern times. Readings on the detailed profiles of local actors in region will give participants a detailed knowledge on regions native political and armed figures. |
Course Content | During the course students will read and focus on ethno-secterian structure of region (Syria, Lebanon, Iraq etc.) and political views of actors (Baath, Hezbollah, Israel, al Qaeda etc.) to gain an understanding about ME´s conflicts. |
