Course Objective

Examination of current conflicts and disputes in the international arena and basic international conflict issues, such as nationalism, regional and ethnic conflicts, terrorism, armament and disarmament, the effect of nuclear weapons, arms control and limitation of weapons, and It is aimed to improve their ability of the students' .to find scientific methods to manage and / or find solutions.conflicts in the international system

Course Content

During the course, 3 methods will be used. First, theoretical information about conflict management and resolution will be given for the types of conflict that are foreseen to be studied in the course. Second, various current international conflict issues will be examined. In the selection of the topics covered, care was taken to address the subjects that the students did not learn in other courses. Thirdly, it will be ensured that students make preliminary studies and prepare presentations on the topics to be covered in the course in order to improve their research, analysis and presentation skills. The format of the course is in the form of an interactive method with the participation of the students and a discussion on the subject.
