| Dersin Amacı | The objective of this course is to gain insight into the concept of civilization, other concepts related with it (such as culture) and different civilizations; to look through civilizations within teir own world views, systems and institutions rather than bringing a hierarchial perspective; to analyze contemporary conditions regarding historical background of civilizations. |
