Dersin Amacı | The purpose of this course is to focus on the developmental, structural, cellular and functional aspects of the nervous system and sensory organs and to provide basic information on the nervous system and sensory organs. This board contains all the neural mechanisms. Within the scope of this board; structure of each nerve cell, Basic mechanisms and organizations underlying neural functions, Main parts of the nervous system and sensory organs; brain, cerebellum, brain stem, spinal cord, ventricle, eye and related structures, ear and related structures. Gaining a perspective on the perception of the external environment; How the brain manages the body, including communication skills and locomotion. The sensory and motor systems, the organization and function of the nervous system, the processes related to vision and the concept of memory and its formation mechanisms are explained. Laboratory and practical skills are gained through laboratory training. Neuroanatomy, classification and localization of nervous system anatomy, explanation of vision and hearing with physical principles and concepts and gaining knowledge about imaging methods, Fine structure of the organs that make up the central and autonomic nervous system and their relationship with the functions of these systems, Brain stem, cerebellum functions, nerve higher functions of the system, learning the concepts of sleep and wakefulness, morphological and functional understanding of general and special senses. It is aimed to learn the microorganisms causing meningitis, encephalitis and their diagnosis by the Department of Medical Microbiology. It is aimed by the Department of Medical Biochemistry to realize vision and learn the biochemical control of stimulus. |
