Dersin Amacı

To know general orthopedic diseases and the appropriate approach to the patient after trauma, to be able to perform emergency interventions and to direct the patient to a specialist.

1. Know the approach to an orthopedic patient and be able to make a diagnosis.

2. Know the approach to a traumatic patient and be able to manipulate the patient in accordance with first aid conditions.

3. Know and apply plaster, splint and bandaging techniques.

4. Know and apply orthopedic examination techniques.

5. Make the preliminary diagnosis of common musculoskeletal diseases and inform the patient to a specialist.
