Course Objective Having analyzed the theoretical perspectives, the students will be informed about the developments occurred after the collapse of former Soviet Union and within the framework of theoretical and methodological tools the students will analyze these developments in order to understand the possible structure of world system in the coming future.
Course Content The lecture will inform the students about the Iraq War, US intervention into Afghanistan, Iran nuclear misilse crisis, enlargement of European Union, neo-conservatism in the US foreign policy, NATOs enlargement, Putins factor in the Russian foreign policy, Chinas place in the world politics, strategic competition in the Eurasia and Turkeys approaches
