Dersin Amacı Post-Cold War conflicts in the world has increased numerically and has undergone a qualitative change, and recently peace and conflict studies have increased all over the world.
Today, the conflicts don´t focus in a particular region, but taking place in all regions of the world. So, researchers must be knowledgeable in the field of peace studies and conflict resolution.

Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution course aims to examine and investigate the causes and dynamics of the conflicts in various parts of the world, peace theories, conflict resolution and peace movements, and the efforts to achieve the peace.
Dersin İçeriği In this course, after the description of conflict and peace theories Firstly, various conflicts from different regions of the world will be examined. Second, conflict management, transformation and resolution process will be examined. Third, peace theories and approaches will be examined.
