Dersin Amacı | Making the students consider the public health in their practices and behave in accordance with this consideration, and teaching them the health organization and health regulations in Turkey, the protective health practices, the environmental health practices, the immunizing practices, the public health practices in non-contagious diseases, old-age health practices, mothers health and family planning practices and the childrens health practices. |
Dersin İçeriği | The course deals with the functions and the basic principles of the public health nurse regarding the protection, improvement of the health of the society, the family and regarding the individual, and the services of early diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. In this context, the historical development, definition and the roles of the public health nursing; the place of the public health nursing in the special fields such as the evaluation of the health, family structure, culture, work, school, health of the aged people, mothers and childrens health, adolescent health, environmental health and genetics; and health services, organizations and policies. |
