Dersin Amacı | In this lesson we will get at the bottom of plate techtonics to analysis contended theories. We will explain general characteristics of the earth’s layers thereby we convey information about earthquake and parameters which is related to earthquakes. Besides boundaries formed with plates that surroundes our Earth will be introduced and we will give information our students about characteristics of these boundaries’s geophysics, sismology, seismotectonic, sedimentation, magmatism, metamorphism. |
Dersin İçeriği | Theory of earthquakes and plate techtonic. Kinematic properties of plate boundaries, structural elements of lithosphere. Continental rifts, kinematic of spread centers, kinematic of transform fault. Plate kinematic and Euler pole consept on sphere. Triple junction and their geometries. Press techtonic and loss zones. Eartquakes and volcanism. Inner techtonic of plate. Earthquake seismology. Seismic and seismotectonic studies. Earthquake source parameters and fault plane solutions, fault plane solutions; kinemathic of the earth; structural elements of litshosphere; techtonic settlement and continent edges; continental rifts; Sea flor spreading; transform faults; press techtonic; loss zones and magmatic bents; ısland spring collision- continent-continent collision; ocean central settlement centers and hot points;Alp-Himalaya bent; East Mediterranean region |
