Dersin Amacı With the end of the Cold War Era the international system by its impaired geopolitical equilibrium entered a new period of indefiniteness after September 11th. The Central Asia and Caucasia which were outside the agenda of the world politics until this period become the area of interest for both the regional countries Russia, Iran, Turkey and extra-regional countries USA, EU, China. The grounds for this lecture is to supply the broad visioned international relations doctorate lecturer who may have foresight about the nowadays politics, by examining the foreign policy and the near vicinity relations of Eurasia that becomes an area of conflict especially both for regional and global powers in the new world order and that has an important geopolitical and political expansions.
Dersin İçeriği n this lecture the factors that affect the changing geopolitics of Central Asia and Caucasia are being examined. And the rivaling great powers are being analyzed according to these factors. Though there are other regional and global powers that have interest in Central Asia, the politics of RF, US, EU having the main influence over the issues in this region are going to be mentioned.
