| Dersin Amacı | This course aims to introduce the approach and field of developing studies focusing on culture and identity, one of the central approaches in the field of social sciences studies. The birth of Culture and Identity Studies area, along with criticism of the rise and this approach, the social theories of identity, ideology, discourse, power, important discussion topics such as hegemony in the review is the course's objectives. |
| Dersin İçeriği | To put forward the debate on the concept of identity that cultural studies has been problematizing since the 1960s, and thus to try to understand the cultural sphere, the world we live in, the societies and our own lives in their own multitude and diversity. Theoretical and practical approaches are to examine and evaluate a multidimensional concept such as identity in the light on the interdisciplinary platform of cultural studies. |
