Dersin Amacı

It is aimed to teach the students on the importance of electrical drives, dynamics of electrical drive systems under different mechanical load conditions and motor-driver selection.

Drive systems in history, electrical drives, classification of electric motor characteristics, dynamics of rotary electromechanical systems and stability, start up speed change braking dynamics, mechanical load characteristics, intermittent and four quadrant operation, start up and braking systems, drive selection, simulation of electromechanical system, motor selection.
