Dersin Amacı | Excepting metallic minerals and energy raw materials, minerals and rocks with economical value are known as industrial raw materials. With the progressing industry, new materials are added to the industrial raw materials, which are getting more important in the national development. Realistic and conscious exploration and management of the industrial raw materials are presently important issue. Aim of this course is to teach details of these important issues. |
Dersin İçeriği | Introduction and development of economic geology, Classification of industrial minerals and rocks, Feldspar, Mica, Fluorite, graphite, magnesite, Evaporites, Natural building stones ( marble, limestone, granite, dolomite, diatomite and others), Talc, Asbestos, zircon, Quarts, quartsite, Sodium Minerals, Sulphur, Potassium Minerals, Clay Minerals, Zeolites, Cement raw materials, Natural aggregate (sand, gravel) |
