Dersin Amacı Hydraulic Engineering studies and programs used in the current programs teaching the basic laws that make up the infrastructure, producing effective solutions to problems to gain knowledge of hydraulic engineering.
Dersin İçeriği Systems approach in hydrology. Modelling of hydrologic systems, basic equations. Linear systems, rainfall-runoff models. Unit hydrograph, computer applications. Flood routing by hydrologic models. Application of statistical methods in hydrology. Hydrologic processes. Modelling of streamflow series. Flood frequency analysis, regional flood analysis. Risk analysis in hydrology. Design rainfall and design flow. Introduction to reservoir hydrology
