| Dersin Amacı | To clarify that a social service expert should act in which legal and juridical plane, while giving a social service to the children. In this connection assuring to make all social service students understand the philosophy and decisions of the declarations and agreements about children rights and law. |
| Dersin İçeriği | Primarily, in this lesson the composition of modern childhood paradigm and philosophical bases will be emphasized; by this means the bases of the modern childhood thoughts will be reached, and then the establishment of modern childhood in Turkey will be thought with the rearrangement of daily life and problem of child. Later, the declarations and agreements about child rights and law will be emphasized. The UN convention on the rights of the children will be emphasized in detail among them. Within the frame of child rights and child law, the general principles (anti-discrimination, considering the child prefer and respecting the opinions of the child) will be emphasized to give a social service. In the content of this lesson, another subject being emphasized is the junction points between values of social service and human rights of children. Accordingly basic health and welfare, fireside and alternative cares education and cultural activities and special care measures will be emphasized, too. |
