Course Objective It is aimed that; the non-profit organizations be recognized and the awareness of its importance be gained; non-profit organizations and human rights; the approach and contributions of non-profit organizations to Social Work; the effect of non-profit organizations on social development and change be defined; the information, about the importance of the relation between non-profit organizations and risk groups, be given.
Course Content The concept of non-profit organization and voluntariness, the importance of non-profit organizations in terms of democratic life and social developments, the function of non-profit organizations in Social Work, the Social Workers’ roles and skills in the establishment, mechanism and change of non-profit organizations.
