Dersin Amacı

To examine definition, scope, history and examples of poetics in Turkish literature; to determine the place of poetics in Classical Turkish poetry and in this context examine poetic evaluations and discussions of poets; to determine the general principles of Classical Turkish poetry based on the attitudes and thoughts of the poets towards the art of poetry.

To examine the definition, scope, history and examples of poetics in Turkish literature; to provide information about the life, art and works of selected poets; to examine thoughts and evaluations articulated by these poets in terms of poetry, poet and environment.
