Dersin Amacı | Thic course begins from money and basic concepts. After considering money demand, money supply,and interest rates, this course covers analysis of the exchange rate determination. In the section of open economy, the monetary transmission mechanism is emphasized focusion on different approaches. |
Dersin İçeriği | In this course, money demand, money supply, actual issues in monetary economics,examination of Classical and Keynesian models about Money and production, analyze of alternative policy rules, banking crisis, time inconsistency and inflation targeting, monetary union, discussion of open economy and monetary policy in international dimension, examination of big and small countries and exchange rates are elaborately dwelt on. |
