1. To train nurses with a PhD degree who can critically analyze, synthesize, and evaluate new and complex ideas,
2. To train nurses with a PhD degree who acquired skills of conducting and finalizing research independently,
3. To train nurses with a PhD degree who can functionally interact by using strategic decision making processes while solving problems,
4. To train nurses with a PhD degree who contribute to the development of social, cultural, and ethical values,
5. To train nurses with a PhD degree who understand interdisciplinary interactions and who can lead,
6. To train nurses with a PhD degree who provide new concepts for the field by using higher cognitive processes such as scientific, creative, and critical thinking and who conduct original studies and develops original concepts and methods.
