To educate people, who fulfill the requirements determined in the SAÜ Graduate Education and Training Regulations, as a specialist, who has ability to reach and evaluate the knowledge through scientific research, in one of the following areas of Food Engineering; Food Science (Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Quality Control, Nutrition) and Food Technology (Food Engineering Fundamental Processes, Edible Oil Technology, Fruit and Vegetable Technology, Cereal Technology, Milk Technology, Meat Technology, Food Packaging, Biotechnology, Food Economy and Industry Management, Food Packaging).

To train Master of Scientist on Food Engineering who can make literature search on a special topic related to one of the Food Sciences (Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Food Quality Control, Nutrition) and Food Technology (Food Engineering Fundamental Processes, Edible Oil Technology, Fruit and Vegetable Technology, Cereal Technology, Milk Technology, Meat Technology, Food Packaging, Biotechnology, Food Economy and Industry Management) science branches, put in the practice the experimental studies regarding that research topic, evaluate the laboratory results and present as a report, and work research-development institutions
